iGNITION wins YUDU Best Consumer App

Winner LogoiGNITION, the official publication of the WILLIAMS MARTINI RACING Formula One team, has won Best Consumer App in the YUDU inaugural Design and Technology Awards. It is the only team magazine available as an app and breaks new ground in the sport’s digital sphere.

New for 2014, YUDU’s Design and Technology Awards showcase the most creative and inspiring apps of the year. Each nominated app has been picked for it’s unique approach to using YUDU Publisher, and the way its design and functionality work across devices.

Each issue is written, compiled and designed by Sine Qua Non International on behalf of Williams, providing interactive assets which include video, animation and dynamic features, all working smoothly in portable devices with a minimal resource footprint.

iGNITION is a unique interactive magazine updated five times during the season, to coincide with key events like Monaco, but with race-by-race insights to give F1 fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the team’s operations on any device through the App Store, Play Store and flash-enabled browser.
