Job Opportunity – PR and Communications Co-Ordinator
An opportunity has arisen to be part of a small but thriving PR team at Sine Qua Non International, a full service agency in Henley-on-Thames, UK.
Sine Qua Non is looking for an experienced PR and Communications Co-Ordinator to support its work with a number of globally renowned automotive, engineering and technology companies.
Sine Qua Non has developed an enviable portfolio of clients in recent years but this new position will help further grow the company’s services in the areas of PR, media relations, content generation and digital communications.
As a PR and Communications Co-Ordinator, working closely with and reporting directly to the Director of Communications, your daily roles will include:
– Development and implementation of PR and communications strategies for SQN clients
– Management and maintenance of industry-specific media contacts
– Nurture relations with key media and identifying opportunities to generate positive global coverage
– Creation of written content for all client accounts (press releases, press kits, website features, blogs and social media posts)
– Development of social media and digital strategies
– Client management and reporting
– Supporting other areas of the business, where relevant (video production, sponsorship, marketing)
You will have proven expertise and background in the world of PR and communications, preferably from the automotive, engineering or technology sectors.
You will have delivered successfully for brands with demonstrable results from concept to conclusion across a range of PR and communications activities.
We are keen to hear from applicants with a global reach; the UK and Europe is important but we also represent clients in the USA and Asia, so knowledge of these markets would be beneficial.
You are a team player and not afraid to get involved in a range of accounts, contributing ideas and working on a variety of tasks from basic account management to strategic counsel.
You will have excellent English language skills – written and verbal – as well as an appreciation for the media landscapes in different countries. You might even have capabilities in other languages.
Knowledge of the social media and digital communications landscape is a must, as is an ability to develop, lead, execute and report on a client’s social media campaign. You will recognise the important of tracking and measuring the success of anything you deliver for a client.
You will work from Sine Qua Non’s offices in Henley-on-Thames, which is within easy commute from Reading, Twyford and Maidenhead. Occasional weekend work and business travel can be expected in this role. This position is available immediately.
