MGI Consultancy retains SQN for PR support

June 12, 2018

MGI Consultancy, the British design and engineering firm founded by renowned Formula 1 technical director Mike Gascoyne, has retained Sine Qua Non (SQN) to deliver a bespoke PR and communications programme to promote its specialist engineering services.

MGI aims to bring state-of-the-art design and project management services based on F1™ standards of engineering and prompt delivery to the mainstream automotive, aerospace and marine industries, while maintaining its strong motorsport presence.

Using its proven PR and social media capabilities, SQN has been tasked to increase awareness of MGI Consultancy and its services across multiple industries, but with a particular focus on non-motorsport sectors.

Mike Gascoyne commented: “At MGI Consultancy, we recognise the importance of PR and communications as an effective way to grow our business. We are entering a crucial phase as we look to showcase our capabilities in industries adjacent to our motorsport core. Having worked with SQN in several of my previous roles, I know they will help us to deliver above and beyond our expectations.”

SQN Client Services Director Chris Hughes added: “We are delighted that MGI Consultancy has entrusted its PR requirements to SQN, and I am pleased to have the chance to work with Mike and his team once again. As an agency, we have also sought to transfer our motorsport experiences into other industries, so we appreciate the opportunities – and challenges – that this poses. We look forward to supporting the growth of MGI Consultancy and its F1-inspired engineering services.”
