rEvolution acquires Sine Qua Non to broaden technology expertise and expand global footprint

Global sports marketing agency expands geographic footprint in London,
and enhances expertise in marketing for clients in technology, sport and automotive

CHICAGO and LONDON (January 12, 2023) – rEvolution, the independent, global sports marketing agency, has acquired London-based public relations and communications agency Sine Qua Non (SQN). The acquisition immediately bolsters rEvolution’s expertise in technology and sponsorship, as well as expanding its current roster of global clients. Specializing in tech-forward PR, communications and sponsorship in sport, SQN boasts NetApp, Hyundai, Tata Communications and Toyota amongst its client portfolio, and now join rEvolution’s client roster of technology and automotive partners, including Capgemini, Lamborghini and McLaren Racing.

With the acquisition, rEvolution continues to broaden its fully integrated service model across strategy, creative, activation and management with SQN’s global service offerings and staff, led by industry leaders and co-founders Claire and Chris Ritchie. In addition to its leading tech and automotive clients, rEvolution works across all major sports leagues and properties and is currently the Partnership Agency of Record for American Family Insurance (across MLS, MLB, NFL and Summerfest), as well as the lead agency for Chipotle’s gaming and esports activities.

In addition to leadership roles for Claire and Chris Ritchie, as well as current Managing Director, Chris Hughes, all current SQN staff will join rEvolution in their client relations, content, experiential, social media, integrated marketing and communications roles. The SQN business will merge into the rEvolution brand effective with the close of the transaction.
