As the world’s largest supplier of flash memory data storage products, SanDisk wanted to harness the power of sponsorship to increase recognition within new markets and purchases of its High Performance products, as driven by its growing need to differentiate products across multiple key sectors.
Sine Qua Non worked with SanDisk to identify, structure and maximise the impact of a sponsorship partnership with Ducati MotoGP team. An integral element of the partnership activation was SQN’s event conception and delivery, including a launch at Ducati’s Bologna factory and museum to 130 SanDisk channel partners, the SanDisk presence at World Ducati Week and the Wrooom season kick-off event, as well as complete management of weekend hospitality experiences for over 750 guests at MotoGP races across the world.
In furthering their highly successful relationship, SanDisk and Ducati subsequently entered into a licensing agreement that saw limited edition Ducati SanDisk memory products, including a USB stick modelled as a Ducati fuel tank.
During the second year of the sponsorship SanDisk also established a partnership with Dorna for on-screen branding which saw us promoting SanDisk as the official flash memory provider to the Championship and official photographers.
